About
Montserrat Arguello is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Born in Miami to Nicaraguan parents, Montserrat is deeply committed to serving the immigrant community, bringing experience that spans from work with non-profit organizations to multinational legal practices. Montserrat graduated from Florida State University summa cum laude with a degree in Political Science and Spanish. During her time there, she interned at the Florida House of Representatives and frequently lobbied for pro-immigrant policy reform. Following her graduation from FSU, Montserrat went on to begin her career in immigration law as a paralegal before eventually attending law school. She then attended the University of Florida and earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2025. During her time in law school, Montserrat served as President of the Latino Law Student Association, Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing I and II, and a Student Clinician for UF’s Immigration Clinic. She also further developed her knowledge of immigration law during law school by working at a global law firm.
