If you’ve been injured in a motorcycle crash, then you may be familiar with the costs associated with your recovery. From missing work to spending thousands on physical therapy, the costs of your injuries does add up. That’s why it’s important to seek information on claiming compensation that you deserve; another person’s negligence shouldn’t leave you with unwanted bills.

This woman allegedly caused catastrophic injuries to a couple riding their motorcycle, and she has just now turned herself in to police. The accident took place in Florida, according to a report from June 5, when the 45-year-old woman hit a man and woman on their motorcycle along Bell Shoals Road.

When the woman hit the couple with her SUV, she caused the woman to be flung onto the street, and the impact caused the man’s broken leg. The man’s wife was unconscious following the crash. At that time, the injured man reported that the woman drove away despite him asking her directly for help; he was unable to reach his wife to help her.

The man and his wife were reportedly injured badly in the crash. They will need at least six weeks to recover from their injuries, according to doctors at the hospital where they were treated. Fortunately, the woman who struck the pair has turned herself in to police. She’s now been charged with leaving the scene of a crash with serious injuries and for driving with a suspended or revoked license with serious injuries. She had allegedly left her gold SUV under a tarp around two miles away from her home.
