Motorcyclists injured in accident with motor vehicle

A Florida motorist was ticketed for careless driving after losing control of her vehicle during a lane change and causing an accident that involved three motorcycles. According to the report, the car accident occurred when the woman attempted to make a lane change. She saw the motorcycles and attempted avoid them by swerving. She then lost control of her vehicle.

According to troopers, the two motorcycles, which were carrying three people, collided with the rear portion of the vehicle. The motorcycles were overturned while the vehicle struck the median guardrail. All three motorcyclists were taken to the hospital with injuries that ranged from minor to serious. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

When people are injured in an accident that is caused by someone else, they may be entitled to compensation. However, under Florida laws, the injuries that were sustained must be above a certain threshold for an eligible lawsuit to be filed. For those who meet the qualifications, an experienced Florida attorney may be able to help those who were injured by the actions of someone else. To help with the case, the attorney may hire an expert witness to demonstrate the full extent of the injuries and to prove the liability of the driver who caused the accident.

In most cases, the attorney may be able to obtain compensation for the injuries that occur as a result of someone else's negligence. In rare instances, an attorney may also be able to obtain compensation for their clients who obtain injuries while avoiding accidents. The attorney may use expert witnesses to determine the extent of the injuries to negotiate the amount of compensation that is awarded to their client. This compensation may be used to help cover medical expenses and loss of income.
