Deepti Orekondy is an associate attorney at Kurzban, Kurzban, Tetzeli and Pratt, P.A. Deepti joined the firm after attending the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated cum laude and served as the Senior Writing Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. She authored “What Makes Parties Joint Employers? An Analysis of the National Labor Relations Board’s Redefining of the “Joint Employer” Standard and Its Potential Effect on the Labor Industry” which was published in 2017 in the University of Miami Business Law Review.

While in law school, Deepti interned with Immigration and Customs Enforcement with the Department of Homeland Security and subsequently worked as a student attorney with the University of Miami Immigration Clinic where she represented clients before USCIS and the Immigration Court.
Deepti’s practice focuses primarily on working with foreign individuals and their families in the areas of business and family based immigration law. She has experience in immigrant and non-immigrant matters including adjustment of status, immigrant visas, naturalization, L-1 visas, and EB-1 petitions among others.
